How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was raised working on cars, especially Volkswagen beetles. What was a hobby soon became a lifetime career once my father decided to open up an engine shop in Tyler. He recruited my brother, Robby, and I. Now, 20 years later, we are more than just an engine shop, we service anything under the hood. We are also proud to have ASE certified technicians on our team.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are known in the community as being honest and always putting our customers first. When people come into Engines Express, we don't want them to feel miserable because they are having to get their car fixed, we want them to feel comfortable and at home.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location with no intention of expanding at this time.
Provide detailed directions to your location
Head south down Broadway towards Target or Carmike Cinema. When you come to the intersection of Broadway and Grande, take a left. You will go thru two traffic lights. Once you pass the light at New Copeland look for our shop 1/2 mile down the road on the left.
What type of payments do you accept?
Check, Cash, all major credit cards except American Express
Which areas do you service?
All of East Texas and anyone traveling through from other parts of the country.
